Cashier tablets
Turn a tablet into a cashier for one outlet — no Google account needed.
A tablet or phone can become a cashier for one outlet without signing in to a Google account. Ideal for a tablet that stays at the counter.
Connecting a tablet
- On the owner's/admin's device: Settings → Devices → Add device.
- Enter a Device name (e.g. "Counter tablet 1"), choose the Outlet and click Create code.
- On the tablet, open the address shown on screen (it ends in /pair).
- Enter the 8-character code and click Connect device.
One-time code
The code is valid for 10 minutes and can only be used once. Expired? Create a new one.
What can the tablet do?
A cashier tablet is locked to one outlet and can only open Cashier, Orders (that outlet only) and Availability. Staff still sign in with their own PIN. The dashboard, menu and settings aren't available on the tablet.
The tablet stays connected until it's revoked — no daily sign-in needed.
Revoking & deleting
- Revoke: the tablet stops being a cashier immediately and any signed-in cashier on it is signed out. To use it again, create a new code.
- Delete: removes a revoked device from the list. Order history isn't affected.
- From the tablet itself: Unpair device in the sidebar.
