Sold-out items

Mark menu items as sold out at one outlet.

Mark items as sold out

Open Availability in the sidebar. Active menu items are listed with a switch each:

Turn the switch off → the item shows Sold out on the cashier screen and can't be ordered.
Turn it back on when it's in stock again.

Sold-out status applies only to the active outlet. Other outlets aren't affected — branch A can run out of iced latte while branch B keeps selling it.

Who can do this?

Anyone who can open the POS at that outlet: owners, admins, members and cashier tablets. Cashiers can mark items sold out without waiting for the owner.

Want to hide an item for good?

Use Menu → Products → edit the product → turn off Show on cashier. That applies to every outlet. See Menu.
